My Collection
Do you have display cabinets full of stuff? With it all neatly labelled, cross-referenced and entered into a database. Have you been to a convention? Do other collectors look up to you in awe?
I thought I was above this one. I'm not that autistically geeky that I have a Collection with a capital C. But no, I remembered I'm hoarding away every version of "Inside Macintosh" ever published.
What do you collect? And why? I mean, what makes you do it?

I collect on behalf of my boyfriend
whether he likes it or not.
He's got two projects on at the mo; the first is covering all of his worldy possessions (well, his CD racks) with stickers. Not just silly little ones, but big artistic ones. So if I see any stickers, I collect them for him. Including the NY "Proud to be Gay" ones they were handing out at the parade when we were on holiday there. He hasn't used that one.
The second one is for his draught-excluder. His mother heard him complaining about how cold it gets in his house, so bought him a draught excluder. It's in the shape of a long sausage-dog, and the material is printed with flowers and hearts in various shades of pastel. In short, it looks ridiculous. So I'm on a personal crusade to by sew-on patches, mostly for bands, to turn it into a ROCK DOG. This will be helped by sticking safety pins through its ears. So far I've got patches for Iron Maiden, Kiss, Metallica, British Sea Power and a random one of Che Guevara.
If anyone has any patches they'd like to donate/sell, please get in touch...
