My Collection
Do you have display cabinets full of stuff? With it all neatly labelled, cross-referenced and entered into a database. Have you been to a convention? Do other collectors look up to you in awe?
I thought I was above this one. I'm not that autistically geeky that I have a Collection with a capital C. But no, I remembered I'm hoarding away every version of "Inside Macintosh" ever published.
What do you collect? And why? I mean, what makes you do it?

It grows by the day.
For about three or four months now I've been abusing my uni LAN connection by downloading episodes of whatever I fancy from the boyfriend's server. Mainly Top Gear, which we watch together most evenings (he's in England and I'm in Switzerland). I also have a handful of South Park and Simpsons episodes, The Notebook, and a few little videos of kittens and things like that.
I also have an ever-growing collection of MP3s, which people send me over MSN or I nick from the boyfriend again. I've discovered some fantastic music this way (Rilo Kiley anyone?). I need an external.
Oh, and a fairly ridiculous collection of make-up, some of which has to be at least 6 years old, and has been kept because you either can't get the colour any more, or I just like the packaging. I keep it in a toolbox.
