My CollectionDo you have display cabinets full of stuff? With it all neatly labelled, cross-referenced and entered into a database. Have you been to a convention? Do other collectors look up to you in awe?
I thought I was above this one. I'm not that autistically geeky that I have a Collection with a capital C. But no, I remembered I'm hoarding away every version of "Inside Macintosh" ever published.
What do you collect? And why? I mean, what makes you do it?

No at all impressive, but..At primary school I used to use a fountain pen. The ink cartridges had a little plastic ball in the top that got pushed inside the cartridge when you loaded the pen. Yep, I collected the little balls. Had over a hundred at one point, kept them in my catridge tin. Then someone threw them over the classroom floor - can't say I was that bothered, it was more of a habit.
Also have collected (and then binned)
- 100 or so real ale bottles
- Every FHM since 1996 til about sep 2006
- Almost every Fortean Times since 2006 (not yet binned though)
Oh, and at the moment 1191 mp3's, which I rarely listen to but couldn't bear to delete.
I also own a replica Polynesian club as used in an episode of Xena: Warrior Princess. God knows why...
