Neighbours
I used to live next door to a pair of elderly naturists, only finding out about their hobby when they bade me a cheerful, saggy 'Hello' while I was 25 feet up a ladder repairing the chimney. Luckily, a bush broke my fall, but the memory of a fat, naked man in an ill-fitting wig will live with me forever.

This really grates me...
On one hand you have people complaining about independent pubs going under and how the chains are taking over, on the other hand they seem to object to anything the pub does to try and drum up business.
Also, you would think that the neighbours would have a conscience and not lodge false applications given that this is your livelihood -- but you'd think wrong :(
