The nicest thing someone's ever done for me
In amongst all the tales of bitterness and poo, we occasionally get fluffy stories that bring a small tear to our internet-jaded eyes.
In celebration of this, what is the nicest thing someone's done for you? Whether you thoroughly deserved it or it came out of the blue, tell us of heartwarming, selfless acts by others.
Failing that, what nice things have you done for other people, whether they liked it or not?

My ex....
just got engaged and didn't tell me....
having said she wouldn't
and that she might want to get back with me.
Friend of mine offered to "off" her, that was nice of him- maybe a nice thing for me to do would be to say no? would it?

Thats a nice thing to offer.
My mate had a huge ugly divorce with his ex hag and I told him (throughout the years of it dragging on - Children involved, he has them now) that it would have been cheaper and easier to just pay someone to take care of her.
Funny thing was, towards the end he was agreeing with me and wishing he knew someone who could have done it.
Sad but true.
