In amongst all the tales of bitterness and poo, we occasionally get fluffy stories that bring a small tear to our internet-jaded eyes.
In celebration of this, what is the nicest thing someone's done for you? Whether you thoroughly deserved it or it came out of the blue, tell us of heartwarming, selfless acts by others.
Failing that, what nice things have you done for other people, whether they liked it or not?

This has actually brought a lump to my throat. I work in the bike trade and have worked with several bike mechanics who have "ended up" doing their job because it's the only thing they have a remaining passion for after becoming disillusioned with everything else. Drink, drugs, relationships, family: lots of things have left them stuck in a badly paid job ignoring their dreams because they're working in a trade they once enjoyed even if it is so low paid.
Well done Richard Howes and well done you for making good on an opportunity. Bless you.
