In celebration of this, what is the nicest thing someone's done for you? Whether you thoroughly deserved it or it came out of the blue, tell us of heartwarming, selfless acts by others.

Adelaide woo...It's true! The place has the worst reputation but (touch wood) I've had nothing but kindness from strangers, help from my neighbours and more. My parents, who are both now retired and getting on a bit, get driven around everywhere by a guy who lives up the road and he's never ever even asked for money for petrol.
