In celebration of this, what is the nicest thing someone's done for you? Whether you thoroughly deserved it or it came out of the blue, tell us of heartwarming, selfless acts by others.

FunnyI quite like that this QOTW has provided something different from the type of stories that are generally posted. I like that there hasn't really been scope for the usual, "Somebody did something bad to me, but nevertheless, I had the last laugh by doing blah blah blah" or, "I was so drunk and I/someone else projectile vomitted".
And after all, it is only seven days of warm and fluffy.
