The nicest thing someone's ever done for me
In amongst all the tales of bitterness and poo, we occasionally get fluffy stories that bring a small tear to our internet-jaded eyes.
In celebration of this, what is the nicest thing someone's done for you? Whether you thoroughly deserved it or it came out of the blue, tell us of heartwarming, selfless acts by others.
Failing that, what nice things have you done for other people, whether they liked it or not?

I had them too
but when they realised I was bleeding to death, they stopped giving me warfarin. Left me with painful bruises and a told you so look on my face when I told the Doctor I had split for a second time! To think they had to call him in from out sailing so he could sow me up again, while the Sister held the wound closed while we waited for him to return. Poor sod didn't get a day off that week.
