This is a question I'm glad nobody saw me

Have you ever done something, realised how stupid or embarrassing it was and then looked about to see if anyone watching? Did you get away with it?

Man tears
I was playing red dead redemption on the PS3, theres a very emotional moment near the end of the game, which did make me cry a little bit. I haven't cried in years but this reduced me to manly tears.

Last week I was sat listening to my iPod when the song dead man's gun, which plays at the end of game came on. I sat with a solitary tear rolling down my cheek. I'm glad on one saw as it would be difficult to explain without looking a bit strange.

Is this the bit
Where he sends his family off then walks out of the barn to be greeted and thusly cut apart by several armyfolk?

I guess it was this part too
Unless he became upset when his trusty horse was mauled by the respawning grizzly bears in Tall Trees (I'm playing the game at the moment on PS3 and those feckin bears are really getting on my nerves)

I'm playing this on Xbox
If you have the appropriate outfit, all those bears can help you turn a healthy profit after a well-placed head shot.

It is indeed the bit where john dies. I couldent belive it.

I was gutted when my white horse "horsey face" was killed by a cougar. He survived the whole game and many accidental shots to the head.

Ha
No matter how attached to your steed you are you still take time to skin the sodding thing after it dies.

Use the Dead Eye thingie
And hit them in the head a couple of times each with a bloody big gun from your horse's saddle.

Only get off for a moment to skin them, and keep looking around while you're doing it. Then jump right back on the horse and keep moving. It's only if you stop that they generally catch up with you.

As a result of this approach, it's not the bears I've had problems with. It's the bloody mountain lions that jump out of the bush and kill you before you see them.

That's how horsey face died. I Never had much trouble with bears, shot em In the face a few time with dead eye.

Did kill one with a knife, that was fun.

May he RIP

After he was dead I went a little crazy, shot the cougar to death, then emptied a few more shots into him, skinned him and chucked a fire bomb on him.

I walked over to horsey face and stood in silence for a while, before walking to the nearest town. I haven't been able to bring my self to replace him with a new horse.
