there's an urban myth about this, i seem to remember.apparently/allegedly stevie nicks of fleetwood mac, at the height of their fame actually paid one of the roadies extra moolah to provide this very service. or so i have heard.
edit: i've just remembered that i read that first in a "magazine" called "the herb garden-for losers, users and substance abusers" that i picked up in a record shop in liverpool in '91-'92 sometime.
