My ex wifeis what your nan would call a coon, and my daughter is what your nan might call a half cast, i come from a english family and the amount of hassle my nan gave me was just as bad, luckily my ex was patient and slowly won my nan over.
Since i was a kid i would always argue about her view on race with my gran (died AT 103) last thing she said to me was "sometimes i am wrong but damn it raff no-one is perfect, i dont hate anyone it's just so easy to pick a scapegoat"
