Advice from Old People
Sometimes, just sometimes, old people say something worth listening to. Ok, so it's like picking the needle out of a whole haystack of mis-remembered war stories, but those gems should be celebrated.
Tell us something worthwhile an old-type person has told you.
Note, we're leaving the definition of old up to you, you smooth-skinned youngsters.

@Al
If he did have a problem I would have gone out of my way to help him.
I know how frustrating it can be!
He wanted to speak to someon in "office supplies". We work on a no names policy here because we have so many calls where people try to sell the bank IT supplies or new staplers etc. So no contact name, no connection, terribly sorry and all that.
I tried to help him out, he was rude, I hung up, put the kettle on and am now enjoying a lovely cup of tea.
And thank you for saying I'm not a retard. I do try my hardest not to lick windows.
