Advice from Old People
Sometimes, just sometimes, old people say something worth listening to. Ok, so it's like picking the needle out of a whole haystack of mis-remembered war stories, but those gems should be celebrated.
Tell us something worthwhile an old-type person has told you.
Note, we're leaving the definition of old up to you, you smooth-skinned youngsters.

Sounds like a shame you had to let him in the house
But once he was inside, putting him to bed was definitely the right thing to do - if you left him slumped in the hallway, it would just spread the vomit through the house, and he'd be more likely to wake up in the night and crash round the place waking you up.
Containing the mess in his room was a good plan.
Edit - good night Zapiola, was nice to meet you.
