I'm not so worried...I'm only 22, I've not got a pension, a mortgage or children to worry about.
I'm lucky enough to live very much in the countryside, I know a lot about keeping animals (farm-type ones included), and growing food plants.
If things go seriously tits up, I'm fairly confident.
