What gives you the heebie-jeebies?
It's a bit strong to call this a phobia, but for me it's the thought of biting into a dry flannel. I've no idea why I'd ever want to or even get the opportunity to do so, seeing as I don't own one, but it makes my teeth hurt to think about it. *ewww*
Tell us what innocent things make you go pale, wobbly and send shivers down your spine.

I hate it!! Thinking about its chalky dustiness makes me shiver and puts my teeth on edge.
If I'm watching a film and someone is writing on a blackboard I have to cover my ears.
I was so glad when they invented marker boards.
I did an A level in fine art and we had to do lots of charcoal drawings. These were very, VERY hard for me.
I believe that's the reason I got a C.

I empathise. My primary school teacher started to eat the stuff when she was pregnant. Really. Licked the dust of her finders sub-consciously, nipped off a little end in her mouth and sucked it. The thought of it on my teeth... eugh.

Indigestion tablets like Rennies and so on have a chalky taste and consistency. I actually like that. It feels like it's doing some good, neutralising that stomach acid.
But I hate that Gaviscon stuff. It's all gloopy and horrible, but its main selling point is that it's not chalky.
So it's good to know we're all catered for!
