What gives you the heebie-jeebies?
It's a bit strong to call this a phobia, but for me it's the thought of biting into a dry flannel. I've no idea why I'd ever want to or even get the opportunity to do so, seeing as I don't own one, but it makes my teeth hurt to think about it. *ewww*
Tell us what innocent things make you go pale, wobbly and send shivers down your spine.

needles in the gum
I had a dentist at one place I lived and although I didn't like him much as a human he had a very uncanny ability to give you a shot without you even knowing it.
He'd hook a finger in your cheek and waggle it, apparently you were so focused on the cheek waggle that the needle stick went by unnoticed!
I asked him when he was going to give me the shot and he said "Oh that's done already" so perhaps they should teach that trick to baby dentists while they are still learning their trade.
