This is a question Phobias

What gives you the heebie-jeebies?

It's a bit strong to call this a phobia, but for me it's the thought of biting into a dry flannel. I've no idea why I'd ever want to or even get the opportunity to do so, seeing as I don't own one, but it makes my teeth hurt to think about it. *ewww*

Tell us what innocent things make you go pale, wobbly and send shivers down your spine.

Dry ice
I have this phobia about touching dry ice. I hate the way it feels, the sticky-ness of the surface makes me heave just thinking of it. I hate its smell, I hate its cloudy look, I hate its fog and I hate its existence.

I also hate the feel of bike handlebars after it's been raining. No real reason for that one, I'm just a bit strange with that.

I'm also afraid that people can read my mind when I think nasty things about them, and know my dark terrible secret.

Snap
I know what you mean about the handlebars...grr makes me grind my teeth everytime. And I hate the feel of my teeth grinding against each other.

The surface
isn't sticky per se. It's just so cold that it freezes the moisture on your skin, but then the dry ice sublimes into gaseous CO2 and releases your finger again. This happens very quickly and so it feels like you've put your finger onto something sticky.

But leave it there too long and you're liable to get frostbite, which makes your fear quite rational!
