As a once (long ago) trolley monkey at Sainsbury'sit was a fun game to spot the people who had parked in Blue Badge spaces who weren't in any way displaying a Blue Badge (or any sign of deserving a Blue Badge - a decent limp counted). They were the ones you practiced mis-directing a long stream of trolleys into the back of their 4x4 or Space Wagon.
"Well, you shouldn't really have been parked there" is enough to get most people to back off.
In a small, in-the-end-it-means-nothing way, some able-bodied people take offence on behalf of the guys who actually deserve to take those spaces...
