It's not true (like most of the stories in this QOTW) about the picketsThe BDMB's concert was under-promoted by Carnegie Hall until the management (of the Hall, that is) received a letter from American brass musicians pointing out the true meaning of the band's name. There were never any protests, pickets or gay rights activists.
