This is a question Political Correctness Gone Mad

Freddy Woo writes: "I once worked on an animation to help highlight the issues homeless people face in winter. The client was happy with the work, then a note came back that the ethnic mix of the characters were wrong. These were cartoon characters. They weren't meant to be ethnically anything, but we were forced to make one of them brown, at the cost of about 10k to the charity. This is how your donations are spent. Wisely as you can see."

How has PC affected you? (Please add your own tales - not five-year-old news stories cut-and-pasted from other websites)

Rises to the bait...
Yeah, I know you were being ironic. I asked this same question once, because I had no idea. Luckily for me, I'm actually non-honky, and therefore, according to your strict PCers, absolutely cannot be racist at all. Go, me!

So, apparently, the reason that Black Music Week is OK, but White Music Week isn't, is because this is addressing past inequalities. Black Music was stolen from Black people in the past, and so we must redress the balance. (Although I did laugh quite extensively at the bit about Yes!)

This is the same logic behind quotas, women-only pub nights, women-only swimming lessons (very popular around here) or the marvellous situation that Mrs. God can get free computer lessons off the council, but I have to pay. Hence no Photoshop lessons for me, not at £600!
