This is a question Political Correctness Gone Mad

Freddy Woo writes: "I once worked on an animation to help highlight the issues homeless people face in winter. The client was happy with the work, then a note came back that the ethnic mix of the characters were wrong. These were cartoon characters. They weren't meant to be ethnically anything, but we were forced to make one of them brown, at the cost of about 10k to the charity. This is how your donations are spent. Wisely as you can see."

How has PC affected you? (Please add your own tales - not five-year-old news stories cut-and-pasted from other websites)

I said:

"I agree, speaking Welsh in the 21st century is like a license to print money. I have a part-time job with the Equality and Human Rights Commission uploading the translation of their website to the internet - I don't even need to do any translation, just make sure that the text corresponds to the English version. Wales forever!

PS Sorry for the dodgy mutation*, been out of school for several years, so not enough practise. Out of interest, where do you live?"

*mutation = a particularly annoying feature of Welsh grammar where the consonants at the start of words change depending on the word that came before and the gender
