Procrastination
Outlook is a wonderful tool, but not when it keeps reminding you that it is now 96 weeks since you were supposed to finish a report you haven't even started yet.
Just how lazy are you? How long will you put off the essential or the inevitable? What do you fill the time with?
(We're too lazy to write something funny here. You do it.)

It really is
Imagine the lyrics being read out by a dull, repetitive, monotonous voice, over a totally forgetable drum beat.
Tis a shite song I tells ya.

David Byrne
Never quite *got* him TBH.
I quite liked some Tom Tom Club records, but Talking Heads?
*does wavy hand gesture*
Bit dodge if you ask me, which you didn't.

I would concede that Talking Heads are an acquired taste
But his solo stuff's generally pretty good (the above is not one of his; just some dance group's song that he was invited to do the vocals for). Perhaps a bit self-consciously strange sometimes, but Look into the Eyeball was probably the best thing Microshaft ever introduced me to.

It's the 'self-consciously strange' bit
that sticks in my craw, I think.
Music being deliberately 'arty' just doesn't do it for me, but then I'm a fucking luddite.
Maybe I should give him another go...
*sticks on Kick Out The Jams*
