I know one or two people who do this - I'm good friends with them, but I can be guaranteed almost every time I log into Facebook I will see their names with some needless inane shite written next to it at the top of my newsfeed.

I should use it to make a diary of their lives over a few weeks and then present it to them - they will either become paranoid that I'm stalking them, or realise just how sad they are.
