I am going to have to agree with the law being at fault and not he other way round. That's the depressing downside of having a so-called free society I am afraid. And a sizeable proportion of the real scumbags are dealt with under legal aid and that is no way to riches for anyone representing them! Wouldn't it make more sense to hate the funwits that have actually committed the crime!
