mmmOn my first day after having moved to London, there was somebody underneath a train (how innocent this sounds - "underneath" - as if they'd merely decided to inspect the undercarriage).
When I turned to the guy next to me and said "My god! That's terrible!". He just said "Yeah. I'm 10 minutes late for work".
Rather than get so cynical, I now cycle everywhere.
