I heard the most disgusting sound ever one morning on the bus to work: the guy behind me flossing his teeth. Is it odd to find this so unacceptable?

...there are certain things you just don't do in public. I know blowing one's nose gets a varied reception in different parts of the world (one of my own sins, I'm afraid), but flossing your teeth? That's just weird. Perhaps if you catch him again you should stand next to him and have a shave...

If you're female, you then have the choice of shaving your legs to make your point, or pretending to shave your chin to freak him out..
