I Quit!
Scaryduck writes, "I celebrated my last day on my paper round by giving everybody next door's paper, and the house at the end 16 copies of the Maidenhead Advertiser. And I kept the delivery bag. That certainly showed 'em."
What have you flounced out of? Did it have the impact you intended? What made you quit in the first place?

Hmm, well I guess I'm probably safe by now
...since it was a dozen years ago now: it was PC Review, and the occasion was its sale from Emap Images to Future Publishing. As I recall the mag survived for a few years after that (with a completely new staff since nobody wanted to leave London for Bath) but was ultimately shut down. Which was a shame, it was a pretty good mag for a while (i.e. while we were working on it :)).
