I Quit!
Scaryduck writes, "I celebrated my last day on my paper round by giving everybody next door's paper, and the house at the end 16 copies of the Maidenhead Advertiser. And I kept the delivery bag. That certainly showed 'em."
What have you flounced out of? Did it have the impact you intended? What made you quit in the first place?

Oh.
Didn't get the memo on that.
But I'll take that currant of faint praise, even though it's lodged within a slice of weak criticism. Being dinged, by such a venerable b3tan as Legless, is still acknowledgment of my existence.
Rest assured, I won't make that mistake again. Do I get any consolation points from the Word Police, for good spelling, punctuation, and grammar?
I did have a better story, a true tale of constructive dismissal (so technically, involuntary quitting). But it's just too painful. I suppose I've always tried to use laughter to hide the tears.
