This is a question Racist grandparents

It Came From Planet Aylia says: "My husband's mad Auntie Joan accused the man seven doors down of stealing her milk as he was the first black neighbour she had. She doesn't even get her milk delivered." Tell us about casual racism from oldies.

Thanks to Brayn Dedd who suggested this too

The best way I've discovered
is to blame a fictional antecedent. It works better if they are deceased, but elderly and frail also suffice.
The beauty of this method is that you can just blame their malformed opinions on the societal norms of their era. This is completely marvellous as it totally absolves them of any personal morality, and also serves to downplay the roles that religion and colonisation played in the development of this hatred.

I wonder what our grandkids will say about our barbaric attitudes? I just hope they say it in the Queen's English. amirite?!
