Anyone remember the wanking tramp that
used to lurk in one of the little lanes off of fleet street?

He'd lay on his cardboard box and sleeping bag all day, tossing off extravagantly for anyone who seemed to be paying attention.

I never saw him get nicked for it though.

I was a despatch rider for 4 years
in the 1980s. Used to drive in or around Fleet Street almost constantly.

Drove past him hundreds of times. I get your point, but I challenge you to drive past a wanking tramp and not see him.
