Rubbish TownsI once went to Basildon. It was closed, I got chased by a bunch of knuckle-dragged yobs until I was lost in a maze of concrete alleyways and got food poisoning off pie. Tell us about the awful places you've visited or have your home.

Bill Byrson eh?If it was before 1985, he was probably driven into running off and writing all them travel books by the small-minded NIMBY squads of Bournemouth.
But these days - why, the town centre hardly smells of wet dog anymore. Now thats worth celebrating.
