Rubbish TownsI once went to Basildon. It was closed, I got chased by a bunch of knuckle-dragged yobs until I was lost in a maze of concrete alleyways and got food poisoning off pie. Tell us about the awful places you've visited or have your home.

I oncefell asleep on the train to Streatham (through extreme drunkenness) and woke up on an empty train in Croydon. It was the last train on a Friday night.
I've lived in London a long time, (including Brixton) but the bus journey from Croydon back to Streatham via Thornton Heath and various concrete deathtraps with 'Hill' in the name is not one I aim to take again in a hurry.
Luckily I live in Battersea now so I need never go to Croydon again in my life.
