Rubbish Towns
I once went to Basildon. It was closed, I got chased by a bunch of knuckle-dragged yobs until I was lost in a maze of concrete alleyways and got food poisoning off pie. Tell us about the awful places you've visited or have your home.
Thanks to SpankyHanky for the suggestion

The only good thing...
About Port Talbot is the fact that when you drive through at night, it kind of looks like the opening scene of Blade Runner with all the lights and fire. Anthony Hopkins of Silence of the Lambs fame was born there too (no wonder he emigrated to the US never to return). Apart from that, yeah it's shite (And it has the lowest life expectancy of anywhere in the UK).

fire
Ooh yes, the fire gets me every time - I always think there's a house burning down. . .
