Rubbish TownsI once went to Basildon. It was closed, I got chased by a bunch of knuckle-dragged yobs until I was lost in a maze of concrete alleyways and got food poisoning off pie. Tell us about the awful places you've visited or have your home.

I went there for a conferenceTo get from the travel lodge to the university car park we had to go through an area of mostly metal-shuttered, closed-down shops. On the first day there was a burning mattress in the middle of the road.
On the second and third days there was a partially burned mattress in the middle of the road. A main road. For three fucking days.
It was charming.
