Rubbish TownsI once went to Basildon. It was closed, I got chased by a bunch of knuckle-dragged yobs until I was lost in a maze of concrete alleyways and got food poisoning off pie. Tell us about the awful places you've visited or have your home.

Me tooSays it all that Croydon town centre has two Greggs shops, three McDonalds, and two Wetherspoons. There are what feels like hundreds of beggars in the town, and there is a big YMCA in the centre too.
Whilst there are lots of bars serving Stella or pinot grigio to the masses, there is only one pub that I will go to, as it's the only unchavvy or unponcy place in town.
It's a crap town, and anything towards West Croydon and Thornton Heath is crack city. But you know what? I don't have to live in Croydon, but somehow, I still like it.
