I once went to Basildon. It was closed, I got chased by a bunch of knuckle-dragged yobs until I was lost in a maze of concrete alleyways and got food poisoning off pie. Tell us about the awful places you've visited or have your home.

...but it's not too far from our favourite pub - the Five Miles at Upware (which, unlike the Maid's Head, hasn't been shut down for hygeine reasons, as far as I know) - the drive home to Bottisham along the back roads is fun...
