Rubbish Towns
I once went to Basildon. It was closed, I got chased by a bunch of knuckle-dragged yobs until I was lost in a maze of concrete alleyways and got food poisoning off pie. Tell us about the awful places you've visited or have your home.
Thanks to SpankyHanky for the suggestion

Born and Raised in Longbarn... I agree the place is now a dump but that’s not the true representation of the people who live there.
The people of Warrington do have character, where I grew up we all knew each other and every family in the street was friendly. There are plenty of parks to play in… blah blah… don’t forget what the IRA did to the town and how they all dealt with that.
Alas this been washed away over the years by the steady flow of new flats and houses which meet the flow of mancs, scousers and whatever who no longer want to stay in their cities, along with the modernisation of the shopping facilities to compete with the Trafford Centre, Warrington has become a sole-less / generic town centre which could be seen anywhere else in the country.
The town centre itself does have some charm, the Mad Hatter Tea Party for example.
