Rubbish Towns
I once went to Basildon. It was closed, I got chased by a bunch of knuckle-dragged yobs until I was lost in a maze of concrete alleyways and got food poisoning off pie. Tell us about the awful places you've visited or have your home.

I worked there for three years
and it was bearable, as long as I confined my experience of Brixton to whatever I saw in between the Tube and my office (three minutes from the Tube).
Oh, and visits to the oasis of Marks & Spencer, of course. The oldest M&S in London. Who'da thought it?
