I once went to Basildon. It was closed, I got chased by a bunch of knuckle-dragged yobs until I was lost in a maze of concrete alleyways and got food poisoning off pie. Tell us about the awful places you've visited or have your home.

is a truly shocking shithole which has the misfortune to lie between two similarly shocking shitholes, Ormskirk and Wigan. I'm not sure if that makes it worse...

what makes ormskirk worse for me
is that it was supposedly founded by one of my ancestors.
still, i've recently discovered that i'm not the great niece of the captain of the titanic, which is nice.
