Rubbish TownsI once went to Basildon. It was closed, I got chased by a bunch of knuckle-dragged yobs until I was lost in a maze of concrete alleyways and got food poisoning off pie. Tell us about the awful places you've visited or have your home.

Agreed, don't assume that people live somewhere because it's nice.
As a part of my job, I have to run credit and/or background checks on people for various reasons and a lot of the people I deal with were born in the same town they still live in.
Some people just never escape.

As aboveI moved from Greenock to Swindon at an early age. I think it happened because Swindon appeared to be the lesser of 2 evils.
