Rubbish TownsI once went to Basildon. It was closed, I got chased by a bunch of knuckle-dragged yobs until I was lost in a maze of concrete alleyways and got food poisoning off pie. Tell us about the awful places you've visited or have your home.

SwindonIt's really not that bad if you exclude the Parks, all of West Swindon, most of the new North Swindon development (which, once the new homebuyers have moved on, will be as pikey as West Swindon in 10 years' time), Moredon, Walcot, Pinehurst, Penhill, most of Liden, half of Nythe and Eldene, most of Covingham and the whole town centre north of the Bath Road. Oh, and most of Wroughton.
There are a few good things about Swindon: it always has the cheapest petrol in the UK, although no-one knows why, the Oasis swimming pool is a bit grubby but still entertains with its wave machine and huge waterslides and you can get to London for £6.75 off-peak, which is cheaper than going from Reading.
