Ha haI live in Basingstoke and thought about posting when I saw this QOTW... but decided not to when I realised (1) a gazillion people had already posted up similar replies and (2) kk does kinda have a point.
So, why complain about Basingrad/Boringstoke/Basingstoke being shit? Because it's a meme, people love memes, remember b3ta is half built on them. Never mind that you wouldn't recognise the town centre from ten years ago, the concrete hell hole meme will drag on for longer yet. That said, if everything else was equal, I wouldn't choose to live here. But then I don't think I'd find a job elsewhere that pays very well and gives me huge freedom to tool about on pretty much anything that interests me at the time.
Oh and taxi drivers are the worst offenders for pretty much everything ever, just don't get me started on that one.
