My head of year was one of those. I had similar arguments with her in her office, once for three hours straight. I was 15, and she was 37, so she must always be right, because she is older and wiser than me.

She didn't win the argument because the teacher that was actually there asked around the other teachers, found she was completely mistaken and apologised sincerely. My Welshpsycobitch never did though. Funny that.

I believe she was disciplined for the incident, not because she was wrong but because she felt that the incident was serious enough to drag me out of lessons for three hours straight but not tell my parents (and she was gay and it was felt that it was inappropriate to have a girl shut in a room with her for three hours straight. Wouldn't have been appropriate had she been a man... and men didn't come to the showers and rip girl's towels off them. Our WPB was a PE teacher)
