Haha!I like it.
Reminds me, I managed something similar myself: one Comic Relief day, we were allowed to come in dressed as we pleased, or in costume. So, with a little help from my sister, I went in as a goth/emo type. (My sister did my makeup)
The highlight for me was one of the chav-type girls asking "So...do you dress like that normally?"
I wanted to say yes, but I don't think she'd have appreciated the irony.
The best bit was that I managed to go the whole day without anybody complaining about my T-shirt: ever seen those Nirvana T-shirts with the back that reads "Crack Smoking Fudge Packing Kitty Petting Mother Fucker"?
Not a single teacher batted an eyelid.

As a bit of Nirvana pedantry, it was "Satan Worshipping""Kitty Petting" was the other one, the one that said "Corporate Rock Whores" at the bottom
