True story... no really.
When I was very young, we occasionally had a French student staying in our spare room over the summer - there was some sort of summer school for French kids nearby or something, and they were put up around the village.

One year a girl name Isabelle came to stay with us. After dinner on the evening she arrived, my mum asked her "Have you had enough?".

She looked a bit puzzled, and said no, but was quite adamant that she didn't want any more.

This happened every mealtime, and every time she looked a bit more bewildered - eventually she cracked after about two weeks, and asked my mum why she was so obsessed with eggs.
