My theory of knowlege teacher was similar
He would stick on a video about beauty or synesthesia or occasionally The Matrix and then disappear, coming back at the end of the lecture. He also was generally about 10 minutes late, he'd turn up just when you were thinking it might be ok to clear off.

I don't think anyone cares about the complex workings of the IB so basically I finished up with a B although my essay and presentation weren't really anything to do with what we'd been taught.
