ShopliftingWhen I was young and impressionable and on holiday in France, I followed some friends into a sweet shop and we each stole something. I was so mortified by this, I returned them.
My lack of French hampered this somewhat - they had no idea why the small English boy wanted to add some chews to the open box, and saw it as an attempt by a nasty foreigner oik to contaminate their stock. Not my best day.

I think what your parents instill on you as a child does make a big differenceand is prolly why I don't steal stuff, but also, for me, it ain't morals so much as just having strong principles about what is right for the good of the whole, y'know, the old 'Do as you would like to have done to you' thing, I fuckin hate the sets of thieving child poppin, oxygen wastin fuckwits I share most of my street with for example, so I don't wanna become like one of them or I would then have to hate me!
Shame, 'cos if I didn't then I could break their fuckin windows and nick all their shit for a bastard change, but we all have our cross to bear...
