Shops and Supermarkets
I used to work in a supermarket where the girl on the deli counter cut off the top of her finger in the meat slicer, but was made to finish her shift before going to hospital. You can now pay £100 to shoot zombies in the store's empty shell, haunted by poor dead nine-finger deli girl. Tell us your tales of the old retail experience, from either side of the counter

I've been a recipient of that.
I once visited Bangor to check out the Uni (far too long ago), and stopped off in a little shop in town to grab a few snacks. The shopkeeper was merrily chatting with a customer (in English) at the counter, and didn't see me come in. A few moments later, another young lad (I presume another prospective Uni student) came in. This customer they did notice, and in true Little Britain stylee they immediately switched to talking in Welsh and went about ignoring him until he left, when they switched back to English again.
I decided that I didn't want to study in Bangor.
