Things you've done when you've had no money.
Apart from the usual survival rations of beans, white bread and Doll Noodles™, we've all done things to compensate for having no money. Personally I spent 6 months barefoot to save on the cost of shoes. What pathetic things have you done when the cash ran out?

Savings thinning out? Can't be arsed finding another job?...
Go to university! At the ripe age of twenty-four I get a tasty loan and an excuse not to work for four years, plus no tuition fees to pay because my parents are "poor" (well, they are for the sake of filling in forms). I'm currently living in Tokyo, and I can claim the flights back off my LEA, but have managed to spend all my spare money already on eating out, crap porn and video games.
Bugger.
Still, mesage board virginity broken at least.
EDIT: Forgot, not had a haircut in seven years (am a guy). Never really poor, just tight. If its length ever starts interferring with dropping the kids off at the Armitage Shanks Leisure Centre swimming pool then I'll do something about it with a pair of scissors.
